The Lash Control Check (LCC) is an essential step in eyelash lifting that helps you adjust the optimal exposure time of Lotion1 to each customer's individual eyelashes. No matter which lotion you use - we do not work with rigid exposure times, but rather analyze our customer's eyelashes precisely. The aim is to ensure that Lotion1 has dissolved enough sulfur bonds to form new bonds in the desired shape with Lotion2.

Without this eyelash lifting control, you risk having too strong, too weak or uneven curls and dissatisfied customers. The so-called "flexibility check" of the eyelashes gives you control over the chemical transformation - so nothing is left to chance.

Why should you ALWAYS do the Lash Control Check?

Flexibility beyond manufacturer specifications

Many eyelash stylists blindly rely on the application times specified by the manufacturer. The problem? These times are only guidelines. Everyone has different eyelashes - in terms of strength, growth direction and condition.

💡 In general, thin eyelashes can often require shorter exposure times because they become flexible more quickly. Thick or robust eyelashes, on the other hand, usually need more time to become flexible.

So remember, the Lash Control Check during the lifting shows when the eyelashes are ready. Even if you exceed or fall short of the manufacturer's instructions, in the end all that counts is how soft and flexible the eyelashes are.
