Lash Relaxer: Hot or Junk?
Inmaculada Martino RiosWe promise, you'll soon understand whether the Lash Relaxer is "hot or rubbish"! Let's start from the beginning. What is this somewhat strange pad for anyway?

As the name suggests, the Lash Relaxer is used as an aid during correction work to bring overly curved eyelashes back into a "relaxed" position.
The idea behind the Lash Relaxer is good but there is a big problem. I'll explain it to you:
While the eyelashes are stuck to the eyelid, we have to apply lotion from behind, right? Right! No matter how you do it, you will touch the skin, even if you wipe the lotion away straight away - the product will be under the skin in no time. A big mistake! Strong lotions are not suitable for the skin. If you work with gentle lotions, it is not much better. With eyelashes that are so damaged, you can almost assume that the previous stylist has already damaged the skin, even if it was only visible under the microscope. The risk of injuring your customer even more is very high!
Another disadvantage: you will have to hold the pad, which will severely limit your freedom of movement! This is very disadvantageous during correction work, as you have to react quickly in certain situations.
There is a much safer method where you don't run the risk of injuring your client. You can find the method in my EasyLiftTraining 2.0 with video instructions.
The Lash Relaxer can also be used to dye the eyelashes after the eyelash lift. This is useful if you are working with pads that discolor very quickly due to the eyelash dye. At first glance, a good idea. To be honest, there are two simpler methods of dyeing the eyelashes without producing additional silicone waste and without having to dye your good pads. Please, think about our environment too! Another disadvantage: the Lash Relaxer has an integrated curve where it is attached. This makes it very inflexible. You will not be able to dye all eye types perfectly.
You see, the idea is good, unfortunately nothing more.
